Ferry from Kylerhea to Bernera
(The platform holds about six cars and rotates so the ferry always ties up bow-first.)

Scotland Journal, 5/26/98
Rode the ferry from Kylerhea on Skye to Bernera on the mainland and drove to Glenelg to see the Brochs. (On Nick's advice.)

Writing this at Dun Telve: The Broch is an amazing work for an iron-age people. Of course someone more recent had built a fire in the center and left trash lying around, including an empty candle box. I wonder whether it was locals, or nutballs from the U.S.?

Got some nice pix of Dun Telve, including some from the hillside, then up the road to Dun Troddan. (Got a pic of myself there, maybe.)

Stopped on the high road from Glenelg to Sheil Bridge and took pix of the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan/Dornie from afar.
